Whether you're making a quick 30-second TikTok or a deep-dive YouTube video, here is how you can start creating yours today.

The Steps

  1. Log in to your Syllaby account.

  2. Look for the B-Roll Video tile on your dashboard and click Create Now.

  3. Move your cursor to the Title Box and click the Pencil icon.

  4. Type in a name for your B-Roll project so you can easily find it later.

  5. Scroll down a bit and select the total duration for your video (anywhere from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes).

  6. Right below the duration options, click or write your own script.

  7. Go to the Script Box and type or paste your script text.

  8. Choose your Aspect Ratio (Portrait works best for mobile shorts, while Landscape is perfect for widescreen formats).

  9. Head over to the Language and Voice section to select your language and the specific Voice AI Talent you want to use.

  10. Click the Subtitle Style Box and pick a layout style that fits your vibe.

  11. Go to the Subtitle Position Box to choose exactly where you want your text to appear on the screen.

  12. Use the Highlight Color Box to choose the color that flashes over your words as they are spoken.

  13. If you want to add extra flavor, click on Advanced Options to customize features like:

  • Animation Effects

  • Sound Effects

  • Subtitle Animation

  • Background Music

  • Watermark

  • Folder (to keep your workspace organized)

  1. Click Generate Video to finish up and let the AI build your masterpiece!

Why is my video taking a long time to generate? 

Don't worry, your browser isn't frozen!

If you are creating a longer video (closer to 10 minutes) or if you turn on multiple Advanced Options like background music and extra sound effects, the AI requires a little more time to process everything. 

Simply give it a few minutes, refresh your dashboard, or check your assigned Folder to see your finished video.
