How to Delete Your Syllaby Account

This article walks you through the steps to permanently close your Syllaby account and explains what happens to your data when you leave.

Whether you’ve finished your latest video project or are just tidying up your digital tools, we want to make the process of managing your account as simple as possible.

Before you proceed, please remember that deleting your account is permanent. Once you click that final button, we can't recover your data. This includes your:

  • Profile information

  • Generated videos

  • Saved assets

  • Performance analytics

Make sure you’ve downloaded any scripts or videos you want to keep before following the steps below.

The Steps

  1. Log in to your Syllaby Account.

  2. Click on your Profile Icon or Account Name in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

  3. Select Settings from the menu.

  4. Click on Edit Profile.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Delete Account.

  6. A confirmation message will appear to ensure that the account will not be deleted by accident. 

  7. Click Delete Account to finalize the process.

Syllaby Pro-Tip

If you think you might want to use your videos or scripts again in the future, consider canceling your subscription instead of deleting your entire account.

This stops your payments but keeps your hard work saved in our system so it’s waiting for you whenever you’re ready to come back!

Quick Fix

"I followed the steps, but I didn't see the Delete Account button."

If the button isn't appearing, it’s usually because you are still on the main Settings page. 

Make sure you have clicked the Edit Profile tab first. If you still don't see it, try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache to ensure you're seeing the most up-to-date version of your dashboard.
