Want to make your automated videos stand out from the crowd?

This quick guide will show you exactly how to edit your Syllaby AI clips and faceless videos to match your unique brand and style.

Creating an AI or faceless video is a massive time-saver, but adding your personal touch is what truly hooks your audience. Syllaby gives you total creative control to fine-tune your videos before you share them with the world.

You don't need to be a professional video editor to make magic happen here. The platform keeps things simple by breaking your customization options into four main categories:

Subtitles

Make your text jump off the screen. You can change up the subtitle style, adjust where it sits on the screen, choose your brand colors, and add engaging animations.

Visual Effects

Keep your viewers glued to the screen. You can apply visual effects, smooth out your scene changes with image transitions, or drop in your own custom watermark for branding.

Audio

Great sound design keeps people watching. Give your video more life by adding punchy sound effects or setting the perfect mood with background music.

Images & Footage

Don't like a specific visual? No problem. You can regenerate the image, add cinematic motion, upload your own images and clips, or swap them out with high-quality stock videos.

The Steps

  1. Log in to your Syllaby account.

  2. Go to the Sidebar on the left side of the Dashboard and click My Videos and Assets.

  3. Scroll through your library and find the video you want to polish.

  4. Click on the Edit button on that video.

  5. Look at your timeline and click directly on the specific clip you want to change.

  6. Use the editing panels to tweak your subtitles, visuals, audio, or images. Once you're happy with your edit, click on Render Video to finalize and export your project.

Syllaby Pro-Tip

To keep your audience watching longer, try adding subtle Sound Effects (like a soft "whoosh" or "pop") every time your video transitions to a new image or stock clip.

It's a proven psychological trick that resets your viewer’s attention span!

Quick Fix

Missing editing options?

If the editing tools look grayed out or you can't see the subtitle and audio menus, check your timeline. You must click and highlight a specific clip in your timeline first before the platform knows which part of the video you want to edit!
