How to Cancel Your Subscription

This guide walks you through the steps to cancel your Syllaby subscription or explore flexible options like pausing your account. 

We’ve made the process quick and transparent so you can manage your plan whenever you need to.

We understand that sometimes things change. Maybe your current project is finished, or you’re taking a break from content creation.

Whatever the reason, we’ve made canceling your subscription easy and painless. We’re here to help you succeed, even if that means stepping away for a little while!

The Steps

Follow these simple steps to manage your plan:

  1. Log in to your Syllaby account.

  2. Click on your Profile Icon or Account Name in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Go to the Subscription Box, this is just below the box where it shows your name

  5. Click Manage Subscription.

  6. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page.

  7. Click Cancel Subscription.

  8. A pop-up window will appear offering a few alternatives. You can choose to Downgrade Plan, Pause Subscription, or Book a 1:1 Demo if you need extra help.

  9. If none of those options fit your needs, click None of these work for me.

  10. A short feedback form will appear. Please fill this out so we know how we can improve!

  11. Click Confirm Cancellation to finalize the process.

Note:

Once you cancel, you’ll enter a "grace period." This means you’ll still have full access to your account until the end of your current billing cycle.

For example, if your plan started on January 1st and you cancel on January 10th, you can keep using Syllaby until January 30th. After that, the subscription will permanently end. 

Syllaby Pro-Tip

If you’re just a bit overwhelmed and need a break, try the Pause Subscription option!

This stops your payments but keeps all your saved scripts and video ideas safe, so everything is exactly where you left it when you're ready to come back.

Quick Fix

"I canceled my subscription, but I can still log in and create content. Did it work?"

Yes! As long as you saw the confirmation message, your cancellation is active. You retain access to all your Pro features until the final day of your billing period.

You can check your exact expiration date under the Manage Subscription tab in your Settings.
