Time Limit on Videos

Feature Request

I’d love to be able to provide a script, or be able to see ahead of time, how long a video with a specific script will be.

I have created quite a few videos that are just one or a few seconds over the 1 min mark, meaning I can’t use them in shorts, so I have to scrap it and start over. Dana has been great with answering questions as I have them, and because of this, I now know that scripts under 1k words is how to get it at or under 1 min, but that’s not been foolproof.

    Hello Kat,

You can now see the video estimated length as you write your script.

    Hello,

We will be rolling out fix for this which will ensure to keep the video script within 1 min mark and also show the estimated video length based on the custom script and ability to edit the script goes beyond the allowed character limit.

Hi Kat! Thank you for sharing this great feedback! We’re already working on this so rest assured this will be available soon.

In the meantime, and just so you won’t waste your credits, you can use our video editor and just cut the last second so you can still make it work:) As long as your script would allow, of course… Hope this helps for now!
